What costs do we incur?
Staples Pension Fund incurs various costs for the administration of the pension scheme. First, there are the costs of the administration itself. These include the costs of payment of pensions and the collection of contributions. There are also costs associated with communication, for instance preparing and sending out this Pension 1-2-3 and the Uniform Pension Statement.
Second, there are the costs of managing the fund assets. Investment of assets costs money. For instance, we have to pay the parties we ask to invest the fund assets. There are also transaction costs. These include the costs charged by the stock exchange for the purchase or sale of shares or bonds. A breakdown of the costs we incur is given in the annual report.
