The pension fund

The Foundation was established on 1 July 1970 under the name of Stichting Pensioenfonds Bührmann-Tetterode. Stichting Pensioenfonds Staples is a closed fund. This means that no new participants will be included in this fund. The fund will continue to exist for everyone who was already a member of the fund on December 31, 2014. If you started working for Staples on or after January 1, 2015, ask your employer about the pension scheme that applies to you.

Investments and your pension

The Pension Fund seeks an optimum balance between a high return for a low and stable contribution, full indexation and a good coverage ratio. To achieve that goal, investments are necessary and the Pension Fund has drawn up an investment policy.

The board

The pension fund has a board formed by two representatives of future pensioners, four representatives of current pensioners and two independent members. The board thus comprises a total of eight members.
