The state pension age will not go up in 2027, leaving it at 67.

The age at which people receive old age pension (AOW) is linked to the life expectancy determined by Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS). If life expectancy increases, people will receive AOW benefits at a later date.

Life expectancy has not increased and therefore the AOW age will remain at 67, as it was for 2025 and 2026.

The new AOW age will be announced five years in advance.
