The funding ratio expresses the ratio between the fund's assets and liabilities. The policy funding ratio is the average current funding ratio over the past 12 months. Read more about it here.
The policy funding ratio is below the required funding ratio of 113.2%. Because the policy funding ratio is higher than the required funding ratio, we have been out of recovery since the end of March 2021.
The current funding ratio has increased to 130.2% by the end of September 2021.
