Every year, the government sets the age at which people will receive AOW in five years. The age at which people receive old-age pension (AOW) depends on the life expectancy established by Statistics Netherlands (CBS). If life expectancy increases, people also receive AOW benefits later.

Life expectancy for 2029 has not increased compared to 2028 life expectancy. Therefore, the state pension age remains at 67 years and three months in 2029. This has also been processed in My Planner.
